About Harmony

  • Our Beliefs
    • We believe that the Bible is true and without error, and that it reveals God as three Persons existing as One God. It also tells us that man is totally evil, and that this offends God greatly. So much, in fact, He comes to earth in the form of a guy. We know this man as Jesus. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, and died on a cross to take our evil and give us His greatness. The story does not end there. He rose from the dead, so that we no longer were slaves to evil, but could in the Kingdom of God as His people on earth.
  • Our Values
  1. The Good News - Jesus came for us, died for us, and rose for us. Everything we do centers around Jesus and this message.
  2. Scriptural Authority - The Bible was written to inform us about Jesus and to reveal Him as Savior and King.
  3. Kingdom Community - We serve King Jesus and live as He has taught us to live in community.
  4. Cultural Redemption - Jesus, as Creator, made us creative as well. Therefore, we rejoice in beauty and in art that reflects redemption.
  5. Spiritual Discipline - Because we remain human when Jesus saves us, we must keep ourselves focused on Him through prayer, fasting, and other disciplines.
